Saving the Buick Encore with Jack P. Jewell

Jack Jewell is a big guy, with a big heart. He's a former Tulsa University football star, measuring in at 6' 7" tall. After graduating from the University of Tulsa, Jack started his career at Ferguson Buick GMC. Around here, we call him our "Gentle Giant." He's always smiling and carrying a positive attitude. He treats everyone with respect and works hard to take care of his customers.

With the passion of a caring sales professional, Jack recently started a movement with a simply message - to free the Encore. Too many Buick Encore's have to endure life confined to a stationary lot. The Encore was not designed to sit motionless; it was designed to explore the open road.

As Jack states, "without an owner to care for, a driveway to sit upon, an open road to spread it's wings, it [the Buick Encore] will slowly waste away on our lot."

To help spread awareness about this issue, Jack launched the #SaveAnEncore campaign, and put together a short video to help get the word out.

There is hope for the Buick Encore, and you can provide that hope. For only $185 [and approved credit] you can be the one to make a difference in the life of an Encore. Learn more: http://tinyurl.com/saveanencore

Ferguson Buick GMC Helps Raise over $4,600 for Local Tulsa Area High School

Many schools across the country have faced increasing budget cuts. These budget cuts have affected schools' extracurricular activities and sports programs. As an integral part of the community, Ferguson Buick GMC has set out to help raise funds for a local Tulsa area school. For the second year in a row, Ferguson Buick GMC partnered with Coweta High School, in Coweta, Oklahoma.

Ferguson Buick GMC held another successful "Buick Drive For Your Students" event at Coweta High School. During Buick's "Drive For Your Students" event, Buick dealerships across the country are given the opportunity to team up with a public high school to host a one day test drive event to raise money for their school.

This year, similar to last year, we set up our test drive event in the front of Coweta High School. We brought over half a dozen new Buick and new GMC models for participants to take test drives in. We brought the new 2016 Buick Enclave, the 2016 Buick LaCrosse, along with the 2016 GMC Acadia and the ever-popular 2015 GMC Sierra pickup

The Buick Drive For Your Student event works like this: for every person who comes and takes a test drive, Buick donates $10 to the school. If the event exceeds 100 test drives, Buick will double their donation to $20 per valid test drive. As an extra bonus, each participant that chooses to receive communication from GM will be eligible for the GM Educator’s Discount. Our goal, this year, was to raise $10,000 for Coweta High School!

We didn't quite reach our goal, but thanks to everyone who came out and took a test drive, we were able to raise $4,660!

We're honored to have the opportunity to raise money for the students, teachers, and parents of Coweta High School! Coweta High School is in the process of completing many renovation projects. The school is building a new band facility, new wrestling room, and making changes to the football stadium. We feel the money raised during the Buick Test Drive For Your Students will be put to good use at Coweta High!

FERGUSON BUICK GMC WOULD LIKE TO THANK
COWETA HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPLE, GARY ELLIS, & EVERYBODY WHO PARTICIPATED IN A TEST DRIVE IN ORDER TO MAKE THIS DONATION POSSIBLE!

2016 GMC Sierra: Coming Soon To Ferguson Buick GMC

The GMC Sierra is without a doubt a favorite among our Oklahoma shoppers, and a top-seller at our Broken Arrow Buick GMC store. Just listen to what Christy B. from Tulsa, Oklahoma had to say about her GMC Sierra purchase,

"My husband and I went in looking for a new truck. My husband found one he liked and had to have, the only thing was it wasn't four wheel drive...Michael reassured us that he would do everything he could to get us that [Sierra] truck. Sure enough he and the team at Ferguson Buick GMC did just that. We have had it only two full days and my husband loves it. Thank you Michael and Ferguson for going above and beyond."

The GMC Sierra keeps our Oklahoma shoppers happy for one simple reason; it's a cut above other trucks. With superior attention to detail, and professional-grad quality and craftsmanship there's really no comparison; being the most powerful light duty pickup on the market doesn't hurt either!

As one of Oklahoma's favorite trucks, we're sure our readers will appreciate the exciting news coming from Detroit. GMC has released more information on the upcoming 2016 GMC Sierra! GMC says the 2016 Sierra will be the automaker's most capable, comfortable, and cutting-edge truck yet! The 2016 GMC Sierra will roll off the lot with a refreshed exterior appearance - specifically the front end of the truck. The engineers at GMC added a new front fascia, a new bumper, a new front grille, and new lighting technology upgrades.

The fresh appearance takes the Sierra's signature premium styling to a higher level – and offers new, advanced engineering features designed to complement its crafted interior. The interior of the 2016 GMC Sierra offers our Oklahoma shoppers an innovative, technology advanced cabin. New technologies added include phone integration via GMC IntelliLink. It allows smartphone users to connect with applications such as navigation, hands-free messaging and more through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

The new 2016 GMC Sierra is expected to arrive at our Broken Arrow GMC dealership late this year or early next year. Ferguson Buick GMC is America's fastest growing GMC dealership!
