Ferguson Buick GMC Earns Buick Mark of Excellence and GMC Mark of Excellence Award

General Motors' "Mark of Excellence" is an award given by GM to dealerships for superior sales volume and customer satisfaction. The Mark of Excellence award symbolizes the very pinnacle of success for Buick, GMC, Cadillac, and Chevrolet dealers. According to General Motors, "Mark of Excellence dealerships are role models for other dealers." 

In 2015, Ferguson Buick GMC was awarded a Mark of Excellence Award for our GMC brand. In 2016, Ferguson Buick GMC was awarded a Mark of Excellence Award for our Buick brand. This year, in 2017, Ferguson Buick GMC has been awarded a Mark of Excellence Award for both Buick and GMC! (Each award is given for performance during the previous calendar year.)

4 Years In a Row GMC Claims KBB 'Brand Image Award'

For over 90 years Kelley Blue Book has been producing vehicle evaluation information that consumers trust. One evaluation, in particular, is KBB.com's Brand Image Award. Winners of the Brand Image Award are based on consumer automotive perception data from Kelley Blue Book Strategic Insights’ Brand Watch™ study. Winners of the award score high on important factors that matter to new car shoppers, and have a positive perception among consumers. 

Over the past four years, GMC has dominated KBB's Brand Image Award. GMC has won the 2017 Brand Image Award; making it the fourth consecutive year for GMC to claim the prestigious award. 

KBB.com's executive editorial director, Jack Nerad, had the following to say about GMC's achievement, "GMC’s ‘Professional Grade’ ideology has struck a resonant chord with consumers, and that’s reflected in car buyers visiting Kelley Blue Book’s website, KBB.com, naming GMC 2017’s Most Refined Brand. Receiving the Most Refined Brand award for a fourth consecutive year reflects GMC’s commitment to our core brand pillars. First Look at the Avenir Sub-Brand, with 2018 Buick Enclave Avenir


We finally get a look at the new Avenir luxury sub-brand from Buick, with the release of the all-new 2018 Buick Enclave Buick Avenir. Buick announced the Avenir sub-brand last fall, after the release of the award-winning concept car; of which Avenir draws its name. Avenir stands for future, and from the looks at the new Enclave Avenir, the future looks bright for Buick; Evonik Acrylite bright! 

Debuting with the 2018 Buick Enclave, the new Avenir sub-brand represents the highest expression of Buick luxury. Avenir offers unique styling cues and an extensive set of standard features and premium materials throughout the vehicle. New and versatile functionality, interior spaciousness, and intuitive technologies build on the Enclave’s established popularity. 

Aside from the unique dark-tented, 3D mesh grille, pearl-nickel 20" wheels, and a more athletic appearance one of the most notable features on the Buick Avenir model - that will gradually transfer over to a full range of Avenir models - is the SUV's Evonik Acrylite head lamps. The Evonik Acrylite exterior lighting is a Buick-first and will illuminate the road ahead with the power of more than 100 LEDs.

Ferguson Buick GMC makes 'Buick Drive For Your Students' donation to Coweta High School

For the fourth year in a row, Ferguson Buick GMC has made a concerted effort to help local schools in our community by raising funds through the Buick's 'Drive For Your Students' fundraising event. 

The Buick Drive for Your Students is a test drive initiative that pairs Buick dealerships with local high schools.

2017 marks the third time Ferguson Buick GMC has partnered with Coweta High School, in Coweta, Oklahoma!

In 2014, Ferguson Buick GMC and Coweta High School raised $5,420.
In 2015, Ferguson Buick GMC and Coweta High School raised $4,660.
In 2016 Ferguson Buick GMC partnered with Broken Arrow High School and raised $2,620.

This year, we raised $4,360 through the Buick 'Drive For Your Students' that the school plans to use towards their Project Gradation.

In 1988 Jerry Ferguson opened Ferguson Pontiac GMC in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Fast forward to today Ferguson Pontiac GMC, now Ferguson Buick GMC, is the number one Buick-GMC dealer in the state of Oklahoma and the fastest growing GMC dealer in the United States.

Through the efforts of our employees and management, Ferguson Buick GMC has become an integral part of the Tulsa/Broken Arrow community. Ferguson Buick GMC has been, and continues to be, committed to improving the quality of life for our community by involvement in a myriad of civic, cultural, and charitable endeavors. 2017 Sierra & 2017 Canyon Earn KBB '2017 Best Resale Value Awards'

The cost of living seems to continually go up. Along with higher grocery and housing prices, Oklahomans also have to deal with paying some of the highest combined state and local sales taxes in the country. So when it comes to buying a new vehicle, Oklahomans tend to pay close attention to resale value. 

Choosing a vehicle with a good resale value can save you a significant amount of money, when it comes time to sell your old vehicle and upgrade to a new one. Lucky for Oklahomans, Ferguson Buick GMC offers two vehicles that have proven their worth well beyond that first day of ownership. 

The 2017 Canyon and 2017 Sierra have been recognized among the Top 10 in Kelley Blue Book’s '2017 Best Resale Value Awards'


The average new vehicle will be worth about 33% of its original sticker price after 60 months. The 2017 GMC Canyon is projected to have a 47.2% resale value (after 60 months), while the 2017 GMC Sierra is projected to have a 47.5% resale value (after 60 months). That equates to quite a bit of savings over to the competition! Kelley Blue Book based these figures on how much value they project each 2017 model year vehicle to keep after five years on the road. 

This isn't the first time the GMC Sierra and GMC Canyon have been awarded the 'KBB Best Resale Value Award'. Both trucks have earned the accolade in years past.
