Ferguson Buick GMC Earns Mark of Excellence Award

Proud is defined in the dictionary as "feeling deeply pleased or satisfied as a result of one's own achievements or by those of someone with whom one is closely associated." 

Ferguson Buick GMC is proud to carry the names, Buick and GMC. We frequently tell you, our blog readers, about the many achievements these two American auto brands routinely reach that testify to the quality of their professional grade trucks and luxury sedans and SUVs. A few examples include: the 2015 GMC Canyon recently being named a Ward’s 10 Best Interiors for 2015 in the premium midsize truck segment, and Buick earning the Best Value Luxury brand by consumers visiting KBB.com for three consecutive years. 

While our team at Ferguson Buick GMC values the opinion of our customers above all else (being awarded the #1 dealership in Broken Arrow by the readers of the Broken Arrow Ledger is among our most treasured achievements), we're also very humbled when General Motors honors us with prestigious awards of their own. 

The Mark of Excellence, from General Motors, is reserved for dealerships who exhibit professionalism and superior customer service. It is one of the highest honors awarded by an automaker to a dealership. According to General Motors, "Mark of Excellence dealerships are role models for other Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers."

How big of a distinction is the Mark of Excellence award? Well, out of GM’s approximately 4,300 Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealerships across the United States, only 301 dealerships received the Mark of Excellence award. In the south central region, which encompasses the Tulsa area, Oklahoma, and other surrounding states, Ferguson Buick GMC received 1 of only 9 Mark of Excellence awards presented. 

Along with the Mark of Excellence Award, a few of our Buick, GMC employees were honored as well for their commitment to customer service and outstanding performance. 

Susan Gandy, one of our long-time Buick GMC Sales Consultant, earned her first Mark of Excellence Certified Top Performer award. Susan is a beloved member of our Buick GMC team. She works hard to find the right vehicle for her customers and continually treats people with respect during the sales process. One recent new GMC customer had the following to say about working with her, "Susan is the first car salesman I didn't want to punch!"

Greg Keilholz, our Fleet and Commercial Account Manager, also earned a Mark of Excellence Certified Top Performer Award. Greg specializes in helping local businesses run smoother. Whether your business needs a light duty work truck, a heavy duty work truck, or utility van; Greg's your guy!

John Richey, a member of our GM Service team, was also awarded an individual Mark of Excellence award. John is a master GM certified technician and has completed all Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications. He has over 35 years of automotive service and repair experience.

The leader of our new Buick and new GMC sales team, Andrew Tipton was also honored with a Mark of Excellence award. A large part of the success happening now at Ferguson Buick GMC would not be possible without his leadership!
