New 2014 Buick LaCrosse arrives with fresh styling, new technology and added luxury

Buick's vice president of Buick Marketing, Tony DiSalle, has called the LaCrosse, “Buick's flagship sedan.” We here at Ferguson superstore have taken a keen liking to the Buick LaCrosse. The 2013 Buick LaCrosse is a stylish luxury sedan, with a roomy cabin, and a responsive-yet-efficient performance. Tulsa drivers can't stop bragging about the Buick LaCrosse. The sedan has added a new level of luxury to Tulsa streets. Drivers across the globe have spoken, as well. Buick sold over 500,000 LaCrosse Sedans since its re-introduction in 2009. Buick sold 57,000 LaCrosses in the United States last year alone.

The 2013 Buick LaCrosse was launched in June of 2012. And while the '13 LaCrosse, with its smooth and quiet ride and top crash test scores, has pleased new car buyers, like Dan (view Dan's story here), over the years, it is time for something new. The latest news from Buick proves how determined they are to continue to push the automotive industry and create innovative, top of the line cars. Buick is ushering in the new 2014 Buick LaCrosse. As always, Buick is keeping things fresh, while adding on to the company's rich 110 year history.

The 2014 Buick LaCrosse luxury sedan goes on sale later this year with a suggested retail price of $34,060. “The 2014 model’s beautiful design, intuitive technology and exclusive interior materials show the best of a luxury brand that has grown sales for three straight years,” said DiSalle.

So what's new about the 2014 Buick LaCrosse? The exterior has new headlamps with LED signature

lighting and wraparound LED taillamps combined with the Galvano chrome accent that extends from lamp to lamp create an assertive, confident look. Buick designers also enlarged the LaCrosse's signature waterfall grille grille. The larger chrome grille adds one more eye-catching feature to the sedan, and shines ever brighter under the Oklahoma sun.

Several changes have been made to the interior, as well. The new Buick LaCrosse leads with the comfort, convenience and refinement. Highly crafted premium materials surround you in style: contrasting French seam stitching, smoked-chrome accents and a new uncluttered dash that puts driver controls into an ingeniously simple layout. The '14 LaCrosse has streamlined physical buttons for both radio and climate controls. Buick has removed buttons on the center stack, making the car more user friendly.

An all-new Ultra Luxury interior package is available for owners looking for the highest in fashion and comfort. The package includes a unique dark stained Tamo Ash wood throughout the cabin, jet black synthetic suede on the headliner and vanity mirrors, and Semi-Aniline full leather seats in sangria color. It is available on select trim levels as a $2,495 option.

Standard equipment includes next-generation IntelliLink connectivity, an eight-inch reconfigurable color cluster display, eight air bags and an eAssist powertrain that offers an EPA-estimated 36 highway mpg.

Summer Days Spent Golfing

Golfing has always been a great way to enjoy the summer days here in Oklahoma. After the mundane routine of work throughout the week, it's always refreshing to get out on the greens

and play a round of golf. For many people, golf is the sport of choice, and Green Country is known for having some of the biggest golf enthusiast.

Oklahomans love golf for several reasons. Some reasons golfers love the game are (1) Golf is often a great way to get much needed exercise, as well as enjoy the great outdoors. Eighteen holes of golf is several hours spent outdoors, with plenty of fresh air and sunshine. (2) Many people may enjoy playing golf simply because they love the challenge that the sport creates. Golf is a very mentally challenging game, which only adds to its appeal. And finally (3) Scenery. Fresh cut greens and fairways, plus neatly place sand traps make a well kept golf course a beautiful place to relax.

Like many Oklahomans, we here at Ferguson Buick GMC Superstore have not been able to stay away from the greens (but we're not complaining). We have helped sponsor several golf tournaments, in which we've presented hole-in-one contests. We will parked a brand new vehicle alongside a specific hole, generally a pair three hole, and if one lucky (or talented) golfer can put the ball in the hole, off the tee, they walked away with a brand new car!

The last hole-in-one contest we held was at Indian Springs Country Club, located in Broken Arrow near the Arkansas River. Indian Springs held a couples tournament. We place a brand new 2013 GMC Terrain onto hole 11, and the keys to the 2013 Terrain were up for grabs! The tournament was full of talented golfers, and several people got very close to the hole. Nobody ended up hitting a hole-in-one; however, everybody enjoyed the nice summer day. We have also recently been at MeadowBrook Country Club.

Several of our staff here at Ferguson Buick GMC Superstore love the game as well. Many of our staff's ideal day off is spent at their local club house. There are 24 public golf courses in Tulsa (Tulsa also has 10 private courses). There are also dozens of beautiful golf courses in Broken Arrow to enjoy.
